No calls but orcas nearby

After the first rub, the whales headed back to Robson Bight . From there they spread out, the lead group got as far as the Sophia Islands and then turned. Some wen back for a rub at Strider and the Main beach (just one whale) AND then turned back to the west yet again. Who are they expecting?

Distant calls audible.

We started hearing calls. Sounds like at least the A30s and the A5s are in Blackfish Sound.

No orcas present.

Our Orcalive website is back again. It was a quiet night at the lab. Currently we're following the humpback whales in Blackney Pass. We identified Squiggle. Possibly Cutter was there also. http://explore.org/live-cams/player/orcalab-base
