We've heard no calls overnight, and have no new information. to pass along. Meanwhile, we're running a test of live video streaming that we hope will last all day. The link is at: http://orcalab.click2stream.com/. Our internet connection is slow and sometimes intermittent at the moment, so please bear with us if you can't access the camera (check back). We would appreciate any thoughts or comments you may have via email to orcalab@island.net. Thanks!

No orcas present.
Here is a brief summery of the day's activity: The A36s and the A11s somehow returned to Johnstone Strait during the night. At mid morning they were seen travelling west off Izumi Rock (west of the Bight). By 10:06am they began their cross to the cracroft Island side after approaching the Kaikash Creek area on the Vancouver Island side. By 10:36am CP could see them nearing the Sophias. By Noon they were travelling east under the Cliff. They continued east and were last reported off the Eve River at 5:30pm. Interestingly, the Mackays passed on a mid morning report of orcas spotted near Pine Island (Queen Charlotte Strait) headed towards Christie Pass. A remarkable report as it was very foggy at the time of the report.
