Distant calls audible.

The transient calls are in Blackfish Sound The last calls sounded a bit closer. Dawn just getting going here

T002C's, T20 and T21

Distant calls audible.

We have heard a few intermittent calls on Flower island this morning!

We got a report from Jared Towers that T002C's, T20 and T21 were seen in Johnstone Strait just West of Telegraph Cove, heading West @0835.

We heard dolphins vocalizing and echolocating on the critical point hydrophone around 1745 this evening. Its been another beautiful sunny day on Hanson!

We spotted our first 2010 Humpback about 70m off of the Lab this morning. The sun is shining and the sea lions are frolicking, it is absolutely glorious!

We are hearing great transients calls on Critical point! Sorry we are not streaming we are still trying to fix the system.

Just an update to say that we have neither heard nor seen any orca for two solid weeks. However, the sun is shining, the wind has calmed the Hummingbirds have arrived and it has been a beautiful Easter weekend. Happy Easter from Orcalab!
