Great sunny days! But not too much orca activity recently.

Dolphins calling
No orcas present.
This sounds familiar. At 11:45pm there were close dolphin calls. The morning is sunny and bright and the sea lions are lollying about.

A4s and A5s still at the east?
No orcas present.
Sound is back. We have not heard the A4s and A5s again but the DFO found some of the southern residents off Nanaimo yesterday.

We are so sorry about the connection. There were not a lot of calls if that is any consolation, and as we think the whales went to the east, perhaps we may be able to solve the problem before they return. Fingers crossed again!

The A8s went off to the west
No orcas present.
Well it feels as if the A8s may have disappeared off to the west. We did not hear them come through Weynton Pass and into Blackfish Sound so we are left wondering. It would be nice if they have not gone totally away. Regardless, it was lovely to hear them.
