Yesterday, A wonderful moment at Orcalab when Ramon and Kamilla saw their first ever Orcas! The Bigg's orcas were first reported by Larry Roy passing the Sophia Islands, they then turned into Blackney Pass and travelled north fairly close to Hanson Island. Thanks Jared for identifying the T030Bs, T117B and T172. Earlier the T123s passed Alert Bay at 11:30am. Jared has appropriately dubbed the near continuous stream of Bigg's orcas at this time of year, "the Salish Exodus" Great to be witness to this event once again.
