Superb sounds!! After some indecision at the entrance to Blackney Pass, the A30s, I4s and I27s treated us here at OrcaLab to a visit at 6:53pm. They travelled spread out along the far side Pass and went with the ebbing tide into Blackfish Sound at 7:26pm.   OrcaLab 28 Aug 2016 19:31:58 PDT No calls but orcas nearby We haven't heard any calls from the A30s and I15s after 13:30, then 13:40 Megan@CP reported the whales look like turning east off bottom end of Hanson . We lost truck of them for a while because they are so quiet but around 15:30 group of orcas (15-20) were seen Passing off Kaikash beach about 500m off shore heading east. Sounds like the A30s are passing the entrance of Blackney pass to the west. There are I15 calls too with the A30s, but very few calls. The group who were reported off Michell bay were still there about 20 mins ago.
