No calls but orcas nearby Possibly the A5s and I15s passed Critical point to the east. During that, we heard several blows going south in Blackney Pass. They are totally quiet, not sure who they are. The A42s who took Weynton Pass to enter the Strait are passing off little Kaikash to the east. The A30s (We are not sure when they went out again!) and A34s are reported in Blackfish sound. We heard some rubbing sound on Rubbing Beach hydrophone. Alexandra Morton reported group of orcas headed towards Weynton Pass from Donegal Head around 11:10am. Thank you for the report! Momoko & Chelsea 28 Aug 2015 11:16:05 PDT Distant calls audible. We had a group of Biggs passed to the north in Blackney Pass this morning. They cleared from our view around 9:30am. We think they were T19s. After that we started hearing the I15 calls on Critical Point hydrophone at 9:55am. Jared reported group of orcas (the I15/A30s?) off Bilinkhorn.
