Wayne on the Lukwa reported that all the orcas tightly grouped up in QCS around 11am. They went quiet as the dolphins surrounded them and then picked up speed to the west. The fog has cleared in JS and it is a beautiful day! Leah 19 Sep 2012 11:38:59 PDT |

Joe from the Namgis Fisheries has reported 7 Orcas at Donegal Head heading west at the moment. It appears that some if not all of this gang have headed out Weynton. CP 19 Sep 2012 09:26:29 PDT |

No calls but orcas nearby
After the whole gang of the A36s, A30s, A5s and I15s foraged for 3 hours at the bottom end of Blackney in JS yesterday they took to resting and socializing while VERY slowly floating to the east. By 1030pm the A36s, I15s and A5s could all be heard on the rubbing beaches! The Lab heard distant calls in JS at 0730 this morning. Another foggy morning and very quiet off CP.
