Apparently the A36s are westing in the eastern parts of Johnstone Strait. Helena & Co 11 Sep 2012 16:29:07 PDT No calls but orcas nearby As the resident whales cleared eastward in the Strait a grop of transients, first seen in the Plumper Islands and reported by the Lukwa at 11:50am came into Johnstone Strait via Weynton Passage and swam through Blackney Pass just now to Blackfish Sound. The residents have reportedly turned back to the west. The A30s and the I15s have followed them and are headed toward Robson Bight. They went east mid strait together after their time off the entrance to Blackney Pass and Cracroft Point.
