The A30s are moving west along the Vancouver Island shore between Little Kaikash and Blinkhorn. They turned to the west off the Tsitika Estuary at about 6:45pm and had reached Robson Point by 6:55pm. From there they continued up the Vancouver Island shore to their present location west of CP.

No calls but orcas nearby

The A30s went all the way to the west and turned back to the east while off Beaver Cove at 1:.54pm.

CP reports that the A30s are at Blinkhorn and traveling west. There is a gillnet opening in the Bight, so the boat noise is making it hard to hear calls, if any, on Critical Point.

No orcas present.

We believe the A30s continued east past the Reserve last night. No word this morning yet.

Distant calls audible.

Sounds like the A30s, with someone in the lead, have continued eastward past the Ecological Reserve.
