The A23s (with A85) and the A24s are making their way back to the east along the Vancouver Islanf shore between Blinkhorn and Little Kaikash. Parson island,CP and Critical Point are picking up their calls as they near the area opposite the entrance to Blackney Pass.

The A24s are very quick! They have passed CP already and are crossing the entrance of Blackney Pass toward the eastern end of Hanson Island.

I see there are a few gaps in the reports so here a brief summary: the A24s moved into mid strait and at 1:17pm they were opposite the Cliff. The A23s kept going eat to the eastern end of the Reserve. At 2:15pm the A24s were reported heading west toward CP from the Sophia islands. They are still heading to CP and perhaps taking the "inside" route to CP, The A23s are westbound as well from the rubbing beach area.

As the A23s filed past the Western Boundary and the A24s approached the Boundary there were a few calls. Quiet whales moving at will, up and down the Strait.

Good morning! There was some movement during the night after most of the calls ended off the east end of the Reserve just after midnight. At 4am, CP heard a few calls and then blows across toward Vancouver Island. Right now we are trying to locate the source of these A5 calls in Johnstone Strait.
