Distant calls audible.
After a long silence, we're hearing calls from the A4s again. Sounds like they're approaching Robson Bight.

After turning back east the A23s, A24s, and A85 rested their way back down the side of Hanson Island before waking up and continuing east past CP.

The A23s have also turned and are trying to catch up to the A24s who look like they are Weynton Pass bound.

The latest from CP: the A23s are eastbound opposite Little Kaikash (they haven't moved very far) and the A24s who were in a resting line just west of the A23s have woken up a bit and are now heading west.

Distant calls audible.

This is from 6:25pm with a correction re transients T2Cs It has been an interesting afternoon. The T02Cs (small group of transients) came west ,passed the Cliff and stalled at CP. This was all while the residents carried on past the entrance to Blackney Pass and went further west. A group of dolphins rushed to the Strait and put on the breaks when they came near the transients. They then went back into blackney Pass from where they came and the transients went off to the west. We think the A23s and A24s might be turning back to the east as their calls have become louder.

We need a correction it turns out to be A12 and the A36s in Queen Charlotte and not A30/38/39. Thanks to the Tuan for the info.

No orcas present.

Calls ended for us around 2am with echo location off Robson Bight. This signaled a move to the east and this morning the a23s and A24s were reported off Kelsey Bay. Meanwhile, A30 and her two sons are foraging in the lower Queen Charlotte Strait.
