Distant calls audible.

Almost 1/2 hour ago we began to hear very distant calls beyond the eastern boundary of the Reserve. sounds like they ae on their way back to the west. Lovely morning as the sun comes through the thick fog lying over Blackney Pass.

The A36s are the first group we have heard come up to Robson Bight.

Orcas near mics.

The A36s with A12 are now opposite the entrance to Blackney Pass. The others (we have heard the A34s) and further behind but coming west towards this area as well.

The A36s and A12s continued west past the entrance to Blackney Pass, headed in the direction of Blinkhorn and then shifted over to the entrance of Weynton Pass. From there they went out Weynton Pass and are now off the western end of Blackfish Sound.

Not sure what to make of the resting calls on Flower Island. Impossible to say if it represents the A12s/36s returning from Queen Charlotte or perhaps the A30s taking the ebb out. Need a few more calls!
