No orcas present.

We are hearing Pacific white-sided dolphins. Sounds like they are near the Bight.

No calls but orcas nearby

The T101s and T2Cs went north into Blackfish Sound around 4pm. The bucked the tide the whole way but seemed to manage just fine. We have heard the whales up by Port Hardy turned and went back to the west.

The Biggs whales were identified by Marie on the Cliff as the T101s and the T02Cs and it looks like they are coming soon into Blackney Pass: http://orcalab.click2stream.com/

No orcas present.

Besides the large group of dolphins in Blackney Pass at the moment there was a welcome report from the Naiad Explorer who found the B07s with As off the Port hardy airport this morning at 10:14am. Jared Towers (DFO) has since arrived on scene and has identified the A34s and confirmed the B07s. Such a beautiful day! Yesterday, we never saw the Biggs whales. According to Jared the T55s and the T07Bs were in Weynton when he arrived and the T109As were headed east in Blackfish Sound at around 5pm. They didn't make it into our view. Later, after 8pm Jim Borrowman saw the whales in Weynton Pass. Today would have been Kurt's 70th birthday so we are thinking of him. It would have been a wonderful day four him to go out fishing! I'll turn the camera on for the dolphins for a short while.
