Distant calls audible.
The A30's can be heard at Flower Island, hopefully they'll be heading towards the lab!

No calls but orcas nearby
Not sure if you caught it but the A42s passed Robson Bight very closely and made some wonderful sounds as they slowed down, foraged before moving on to the east. Lots of whistles, clicks and calls.

We just had the A42s head south in Blackney Pass. Earlier this morning the A30s and the A42s most likely headed west after passing Robson Bight around midnight. We believe they went out via Weynton Pass and as a group was reported heading west from Donegal Head to Lizard Point at 7:29am we heard calls 10 minutes later in Blackfish Sound. The thought was that not all of the orcas had elected to go to Queen Charlotte Strait. Indeed at 9:30am the A42s passed through Blackney Pass and into Johnstone Strait. They are now headed east in Johnstone Strait.
