The A30s after passing the entrance o Blackney Pass continued west in Johnstone Strait and eventually headed into Beaver Cove where they stayed for an extended time. After leaving Beaver Cove they crossed to Weynton Pass and travelled through to Blackfish Sound. They are quite vocal which is a contrast to their morning silent travels up the Strait.
