Distant calls audible.
The orcas are now on Critical Point with echoes on Cracroft Point and Parson Island. They sound very excited!

No orcas present.
It has been quite the day for the whales. After they briefly came to the top (west) end of Blackfish Sound this morning they retreated to Queen Charlotte Strait where the whale watch boats lost them in the descending fog. They had been headed towards the Penfolds. Later in the day, at 4:30pm Marie relayed that the Lukwa had identified the A30s, A23s, A25s and some of the I15s and that they had moved over to Lizard Point from the Polkinghorn Islets. They are pointing east once again. It is a beautiful, slightly breezy summer day here.

We started hearing calls. The orcas are in Blackfish Sound. Sounds like there are a lot of boats around.

The Orcas went north through Blackney Pass. They have cleared from our view around 10 pm. They are still vocal in Blackfish Sound.
