No calls but orcas nearby

And they go north again! The A36s are just clearing back into Blackfish Sound. This time with the tide!

Distant calls audible.

The A36s came into Blackney and got just into Blackfish Sound before they turned and moved back to Johnstone Strait. They have called a few times. A37 was first to lead but A46 led back to Johnstone Strait. There were two humpbacks in the Pass at the same time.

We just had 5 Biggs Orca in Blackney Pass. They were heading South then changed direction and left Blackney to the North. Thanks to the Lukwa for the report. We are working on getting some ID's out soon.

Distant calls audible.

We are hearing some distant calls from down at the rubbing beaches, with orcas recently being sighted a few miles east from there. Hopefully they're coming our way!

No orcas present.

Chatty dolphins through the night and lovely humpbacks in Blackney Pass this morning.
