Performing maintenance

Hi everyone, we're running a test of streaming audio at a higher rate than usual (54kbps v"s 11kbps). We'd like your opinion as to whether your audio experience is improved. Probably, we will do this for the rest of today, and perhaps tomorrow, as we have spare end of month bandwidth that will enable us to do it. Thanks for any feedback you can give us!

No orcas present.

No one has seen the A30s yet today. We last heard them around 5am and are wondering if their distant calls at that time meant they went out through Weynton Passage. The A36s and the A11s (small group) have been reported in Nodales (east JS) this morning.

Distant calls audible.

We think the A30s carried on westward in Johnstone Srait and are waiting to see if the now flooding tide is encouraging a proper turn back to the east.

Distant calls audible.

At least the A30s have returned. We have been recording their western movement back. Have not heard either A4 or A36s so far.
