Performing maintenance

Sorry everyone, but we have lost our internet connection again. We think the problem is battery power at the CP link in our network, but won't be able to get there until tomorrow afternoon. We will resume live streaming as soon as possible, and meanwhile appreciate your patience very much! The A36s, by the way, are still in Queen Charlotte Strait & may be heading back "in" on the flooding tide (not sure yet).

The A36s did end up in Queen Charlotte Strait after travelling through Blackfish Sound. At 11:30am they were off the Holford Islets - not too far away.

No calls but orcas nearby

The A36s repeated yesterday's pattern of coming west, travelling through Blackney Pass and out to Blackfish Sound before 9am.

Orcas near mics.

The A36s last night went east of Robson Bight. All was quiet (for us) until recently. Sounds like they are making their way back. Heavy fog this morning, lifting slightly.
