Distant calls audible.

It sounded as though the A11s & A36s continued to the east in Johnstone Strait. The last calls were heard around 10pm.

Distant calls audible.

We can hear the A36s and A11s in Johnstone Strait. The Lukwa also reported that the A11s had stopped to rest and socialize off Pig Ranch, mid strait, and the A36s simultaneously charged back to the east towards them from 1/2 mile east of CP.

Distant calls audible.

The A36s were foraging just east of Kaikash while the A11s slowly traveled east in Robson Bight around 4:45pm. They were all vocal at the time. CP has just reported that they are all spread out from Robson Bight to the east.

Distant calls audible.

The A36s and small A11 group just passed the Lab in a tight resting group to the south. It was a glorious scene as they slowly surfaced in the glassy calm sea with a thin layer of fog in the background. A few calls can now be heard on CP.

No orcas present.

The A36s continued to sporadically call in Johnstone Strait until about 2:30am. It didn't sound like they were going anywhere fast. This morning the fog is thick, but we can hear a humpback blowing mid Pass.

Distant calls audible.

We can hear distant, sporadic calls on the Rubbing Beaches. Perhaps the A36s & A11s are back from the east??
