No orcas present.

No orcas present.

A couple of updates have come in. Bill Mackay thinks the residents may have spent part of the day near Blunden Harbour/Browning Island foraging amongst scores of jumping salmon. Bill was relaying a report he got when he arrived back at the dock. Wayne on the Lukwa during the evening trip was surprised by 6 transients off of Lizard Point around 7pm. These whales included the T2Cs and were headed west. Also, today, there were 2 minke whales in Weynton Pass, Freckles the humpback was seen approaching the White Cliff Islets in Queen Charlotte Strait and there was a large group of dolphins in Queen Charlotte Strait as well.
