No orcas present. The Bigg's orcas continue to move around the area. Yesterday, David and Brittney on their trip to change batteries at the hydrophone sites came across the T46Cs near Cracroft Point in the entrance to Blackney Pass in the early afternoon. The group went into Johnstone Strait close to the Cracroft Island shore and turned back to the west before reaching the Sophia Island. We had them on the camera briefly but lost them when they took a long dive. David and Brittney sent photos to Jared Towers who confirmed the IDs. Beautiful, cold, clear weather here.
