No orcas present. For us it was a surprisingly quiet night (except for the boat noise of course).The day started with welcomed rain and very misty conditions. We learned after a while that northern resident orcas were seen back in Queen Charlotte Strait headed away from the area. Sigh, over before it has begun! The day is still young so we will wait and see. Hopefully, their reception, if they choose to return, will be calm and respectful. OrcaLab 07 Jul 2019 10:22:00 PDT
