Distant calls audible.

We are thinking that the A36s carried on to the west in Johnstone Strait and then went out through Weynton Pass as they are now calling in Blackfish Sound.

Orcas near mics.

Nice calls from the A36s as they approach the entrance to Blackney Pass mid strait.

Orcas hunting fish.

We just started to here echo location off Robson Bight. Perhaps, the A36 brothers are on their way westward. Lovely morning, we just had a close visit from several Dalls porpoise. Nice start to the day!

No orcas present.

We lost track of the A36 brothers just after midnight. At that time we believe the last calls were off the east end of the Ecological Reserve. It was an amazing day. Wonderful to see Plumper (A37) particularly as there has been some concern over his health. What will happen today - has the season started? Or are the brothers here for a quick tour to see how things are in this part of the coast?
