No calls but orcas nearby

Today, Jim and Mary Borrowman watched a group of Biggs whales come south from Weynton Pass. The group paused and changed direction a few times before heading a bit further into Johnston Strait favouring the Hanson Island side. Then just as we thought we heard some distant A1 calls on the rubbing beach system (a surprise) the Biggs turned and headed back out Weynton Pass (1:55pm) where they were joined by more. The group of now 12 Biggs went west into Cormaorant Channel and travelled impressively fast toward Haddington Island. Thanks to Jim for going out in the Gikumi to ID the whales.
