The group of whales got to Ledge Point at 10:38 am. Thanks to the Mackays for keeping watch and to Jackie for relaying the reports.

No calls but orcas nearby A fairly good sized group of orcas just went past Alert Bay. They were fairly close to Cormorant Island and then angled over to Vancouver Island headed toward Hide Creek and Port McNeill. Helena in Alert Bay 27 Feb 2012 09:30:01 PST
