Distant calls audible.

I awoke to very distant calls at 0158, but cannot seem to locate them behind the boat noise in Johnstone Strait.

No calls but orcas nearby

Just received a report from Jared that T142 and T143 are heading west past Pt. McNeill. Simultaneously a HB surfaced across the Pass heading south and has now gone out of sight! This isn't the first HB in the area, in fact Christie and Jared photo ID'd a HB in front of Alert Bay on the 27th. However, this is the first HB we have seen from the lab this year. Yeah!!!
