No orcas present.

For the most part it was quiet during the night. There was something around 5:40am but it may have been dolphins and it was soon drowned out by boat noise.

Performing maintenance

We've lost contact with one of the radios in our wireless network, so are unable to get our data "out" at the moment. We have to wait for suitable weather & tide conditions before we can look into the problem, so we may be down for a while. Please accept our apologies.

No calls but orcas nearby

We've been listening to occasional A1 calls in western Johnstone Strait since late this afternoon, probably from the A30s. They've been silent for the past hour, so we're not sure where they are at the moment. We are waiting.
