Sorry for the delay of this report. Yesterday, David and Brittney most likely saw the A23/A25 group head north in Blackney Pass just before 10 am. They took some pictures, especially of A61, and as there were enough whales there for the whole group we think that everyone was there. It has been a challenge to keep track of these resident whales because they have tended to be often quiet during most of their time in the area. Most of the sightings (either by the Lab or Jared Towers have been opportunistic). We do not know yet what happened to the G clan group who circled Hanson Island on the 15th. They were last seen (on the cameras) heading east near the Ecological Reserve. Ah winter - it has been a windy one so far!
