Orcas near mics. Around 10:30pm we heard Bigg's calls.We were not able to source the calls but just after starting the recording there were dolphin calls close to Critical Point in Robson Bight. We can still hear the dolphins faintly. Helena 30 Apr 2016 23:03:59 PDT

No calls but orcas nearby They are silent now but just before 8:50am we saw a fairly good sized group of orcas heading north through Blackney Pass off Parson Island. Not much time to start the recording, get the scope out, get the still camera,message etc! The group surfaced again off White Beach Pass and continued north to Blackfish Sound very quickly on the ebbing tide. They were vocal as they headed into BFS. Boat noise With one lone sea lion hauled out and a windy south east wind we watched as the Alaskan Ferry, the Malispina, carry David and Brittney away to the north.
