The Lukwa reported a small humpback westing by Lewis Pt around 13:30, then 2 more humpbacks by Bold Head. Then a medium sized humpback went south in Blackney Pass at 16:45. No orcas present. We have a whale story for the day! Dave Towers was out today and he and Maureen saw 3 humpbacks drifting in front of Cracroft Point. Later, when they were in Blackfish Sound they saw the whales come through from Johnstone Strait on the ebbing tide. One of the whlaes was closer to Hanson Island and we saw it head north at 11am.
